Glass Microfiber

Glass Microfiber Filter offered in this product range are produced from 100% borosilicate Glass Fiber Filter without the use of binders or strengthening agents. These Glass Fiber Filters offer many advantages in a wide range of analytical applications.

The fibers used to manufacture these depth filters are smooth and uniform. This permits their characteristically high flow rates while allowing retention of exceptionally small particles and high load capacity. These characteristics are particularly important in applications involving high concentrations of particulate or gelatinous substances. In choosing the appropriate Micro Fiber Filter for a specific application, careful consideration should be given to the physical form and concentration of the material to be captured by the filter.

Cellulose Filter

Qualitative and quantitative cellulose filter paper is available in a wide range of grades to meet different separation applications.

Qualitative Filter Paper
Qualitative Filter Paper perform separation by entrapping particulate within the random matrix of cellulose fibers within the depth of the media. This media is widely used in methods requiring the determination and identification of particulate in both liquids and gas. Also this natural fiber Laboratory Filter Paper is commonly used to clarify liquid samples.

Also available in fluted grades, which are easier to use and more convenient than flat filters when used in a filter funnel. This format reduces your preparation time due to its sharply creased prefolded pattern. Widely used for general laboratory separation and clarification applications as well as for soil analysis methods.

Cellulose Filter Paper
Quantitative cellulose filter papers are primarily used in gravimetric analysis procedures and perform separations by entrapping particulate within the random matrix of cellulose fibers within the depth of the media. This media family is also widely used in methods to prepare samples for further testing using many types of instrumentation. These very high quality Filter Paper Used in Laboratory are manufactured from refined pulp and alpha linters. They are acid washed and have an extremely low ash content.

In-Line Filters

In-Line filter devices are polypropylene housings containing a membrane.  LabExact® devices are manufactured utilizing ultrasonic welding and in some variants, over molding.  By utilizing ultrasonic welding no adhesives or solvents are present which could possibly contaminate samples or liquid transfers.

Hydrophobic PTFE In-Line filters are commonly utilized to protect vacuum pumps during vacuum filtration processes or liquid transfers.  The PTFE membrane within the device is highly hydrophobic significantly reducing the possibility of aqueous solution to pass through the device.

ThinLine filter devices, a LabExact® exclusive are most commonly used as sample preparation procedures such as clarification as well as venting in bioprocess procedures. The lighter weight housing of ThinLine devices reduces likelihood of tubing kink causing flow failure.

Microbiological Filtration Monitors

Increased Lab Efficiency to optimize your workflow process.  LabExact® products are designed to ensure packaging integrity and sterility while offering thoughtful designs aiding in aseptic handling.

Designed, manufactured and proven to meet or exceed the requirements of established QA/QC standard test methods.
