EF-2 Friability Tester

Electrolab Friability Testing

The Electrolab Tablet Friability Tester EF-1W has been designed to meet the increasing demand of the documentation, speed of throughput and ease of operation. The EF-1W complies with the specifications laid down in current USP and other pharmacopeias.

The design allows the front loading of the drum and the automatic discharging of the samples into the tray located below the drum, without opening or removing the drum from the drive shaft.

ETD-1020 Tap Density Tester

Electrolab Tap Density Testing

Electrolab’s microcontroller based Tap Density Tester ETD-1020 complies with USP and ASTM specifications. The unit offers a simple and standard means of measuring the tapped density of powders, granules, pellets, flakes and other bulk substances.

The ETD-1020 is a two station tap density tester supporting both USP I and USP II methods of testing. The unit allows any one test to be performed at a time. The test can also be performed as per ASTM standards using the optional adapter for cylinder holders. Two different cylinder holders with snap-lock mechanism are designed to hold the 100 ml and 250 ml cylinders.

EMS-8 Electromagnetic Sieve Shaker

Electrolab Electromagnetic Sieve Shaker

The EMS-8 is a microcontroller based electromagnetic sieve shaker. The movement produced is tri-dimensional, combining a vertical movement with a rotation of the material to be sifted on the surface of the sieve.

The instrument is powered by an electromagnetic drive which has no rotating parts, making it maintenance free and extremely quiet in operation. The vibratory action produced by the power unit moves the sample all over the sieve in a unique way producing faster, more efficient sieving, while the rapid vertical movements also help to keep the apertures free from blocking.
